In2008: Capitalizedon an increased workload to run for a team-high 621 yards and sixtouchdowns last season … ran for a career-high 175 yards andscored three times in the Lions’ week two win over Haskell… also scored three touchdowns, including the go-ahead scorewith 25 seconds left in the third quarter to lead the Lions to a19-18 road win at Emporia State in week five … also caughtnine passes for 69 yards last year.

In2007: Was areserve back that played in seven games … rushed for 150yards during the season … ran for 109 yards against Haskellto open the season including one touchdown  … averaged 4.7 yards acarry.

In2006:  Saw action in four games lastseason … Played in the backfield that helped quarterbackAdam Hinspeter throw for over 2500 yards.

Inhigh school:  A two-way standout for theJasper Bulldogs, runners-up in the Texas Class 3A statechampionship in 2005, Hunt was named to two all-state teams lastfall ... in addition to being honored for his athletic skills, healso was named to the all-state academic team ... captain of theBulldogs, he was named the district MVP on defense and earnedfirst-team honors on the all-district team ... two relatives, TrungCandidate of the St. Louis Rams and Zac Bronson of the SanFrancisco 49ers, play pro football.
