High School: competed in track for coach John Roderique, as well as earning letters in both Softball and Basketball. As a track athlete, Jones was an All-State selection in the discus after placing fifth in the Missouri Class 3 State Championships in 2009. A decorated softball player as well, Jones earned four letters for the Cardinals, starting three years at first base. She was an All-Area and All-Conference selection, helping the team to a Missouri State Championship in 2007.
