Biography

2016 - Goostree saw action in 11 games with one start ... finished the season with a 1-0 record and a 2.95 ERA in 21.1 innings pitched ... struck out 17 batters, limiting hitters to a .269 average ... struck out a season-high six batters in a start against Wisconsin-Parkside. 

2015 - Goostree started 3 games and made 6 appearances total on the season going 2-1 with a 3.50 ERA over 18.0 innings ... Threw the first no-hitter in Warren Turner Field history against Pitt State ... gave up 9 hits 12 runs (7 earned) 9 walks 19 strike outs and held opposing batters to .148 batting average

2014 - Goostree made three relief appearances for the Lions, finishing with a 0-0 record on 2.2 innings pitched... Gave up three runs, struck out two, and walked four in his three appearances...

2013 - Goostree redshirted. 

Prior to Southern - Goostree was a four-year starter for coach Jason Webb on the baseball field, while starting all four years on the basketball court. He was a first-team All-Conference selection all four years on the baseball diamond, while earning All-Conference and All-District honors in basketball twice, as well as being named All-State this past year as a senior. He helped his team to two district championships in baseball and another one in basketball.
