NEW ORLEANS – Twenty-eight Missouri Southern track & field student-athletes as well as both teams earned All-Academic honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2026 NCAA Division II Track & Field seasons, the organization announced Monday.
Representing MSSU on the All-Academic list are 13 men's student-athletes, 15 women's student-athletes, and both teams.
Dailynn VanDeren and
Adrianne Casey were both named USTFCCCA Women's Outdoor Field Scholar Athlete of the Year.
To qualify for the Team All-Academic Award, the team's cumulative GPA must be 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The women's team had a GPA of 3.58 and the men's team had a GPA of 3.18.
For an athlete to earn All-Academic Honors, they must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and have reached a qualifying standard for the NCAA Championships for either the indoor or outdoor season. Transfer students and/or graduate students include only grades earned at the current nominating institution.
