JOPLIN, Mo. – Missouri Southern Athletics has announced the return of SouthernFest Dinner & Auction, presented by Crossland Construction, on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026. After a one-year hiatus, the annual fundraising event benefiting MSSU Athletics will be held at the Ron Richard Athletic Center with doors opening at 5 p.m.
Registration will officially open on July 17. The deadline to register for the SouthernFest Dinner & Auction is Sept. 4.
SouthernFest Dinner & Auction remains one of the department's premier fundraising events, bringing together alumni, donors and Lion supporters to invest in the success of Missouri Southern student-athletes. Proceeds from the event help provide the resources needed for Lions to succeed in competition, in the classroom and in life.
The evening will feature a silent auction, live auction, dinner catered by Woody's Smokehouse and opportunities to connect with Missouri Southern coaches, staff, student-athletes and fellow Lion supporters.
