JOPLIN, Mo. — A total of 49 student-athletes will receive their degrees from Missouri Southern State University this weekend during MSSU's Spring 2026 graduation ceremonies.
The spring commencement ceremonies will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center
MSSU will host two ceremonies:
● 10 a.m. — College of Arts and Sciences; College of Business, Communication, and Technology; and Bachelor of General Studies
● 1:30 p.m. — College of Health, Life Sciences and Education; and Bachelor of Applied Sciences
Track & Field tops the department with 13 graduates, while football follows with nine and baseball adds seven. Softball graduates five student-athletes, spirit squad and men's golf each have four, volleyball and women's soccer each have two, while men's basketball, women's basketball and women's golf each have one graduate.
