Franklin and Hunnicutt Earn 2024-25 Women's Basketball All-MIAA Honors

Kansas City, Mo. - The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association announces its postseason awards and All-MIAA teams for the 2024-25 women's basketball season. Missouri Southern's Ryan Franklin and Kaitlin Hunnicutt have earned All-MIAA honors.

All-MIAA Third Team
Ryan Franklin
31 | Center | 6-3 | R-So. | Edmond, Okla.
Franklin started all 28 games for the Lions, making a significant impact on both ends of the court. She dominated the boards with 391 total rebounds, averaging 14.0 per game. Offensively, she was just as effective, scoring 391 points for an average of 14.0 per game. Additionally, she contributed across the stat sheet with 78 assists, 25 steals, and 17 blocks.
 
All-MIAA Honorable Mention
Kaitlin Hunnicutt
10 | Guard | 5-9 | R-Sr. | Danville, Ark.
Hunnicutt played in 23 games, starting 21 of them for the Lions. She knocked down 44 three-pointers, surpassing Danielle DeVader's (2005-09) program record of 196 made threes. She now tops the record books with 200 career three-pointers. Hunnicutt totaled 279 points on the season, averaging 12.1 points per game. On the defensive end, she collected 86 rebounds (3.7 per game) while also recording 39 assists, 30 steals, and 4 blocks.
