Six Lions Earn MIAA Women’s Basketball All-Academic Honors

Kansas City, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association announced its academic awards for the 2024-25 women's basketball season. 
 
Eighty-One women's basketball student-athletes from all 14 MIAA member institutions were honored by the Association for their work in the classroom this season. There were also 17 women's basketball players named MIAA Scholar-Athletes and 14 who earned the league's Academic Excellence award.

Earning MIAA Academic Honor Roll women's basketball honors are Kaitlin Hunnicutt, Ryan Franklin, Morgan Meyers, Kennady Roach, Mia Topping, and Reese Webb
 
To be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 or above at the certifying member institution. The individual must also have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.
