Surprise, Ariz. - Over the stretch of December 29-31, senior
Tradgon McCrae competed as an individual in the Thunderbolt Invitational. The tournament was located at the Sterling Grove Golf & Country Club in Surprise, Arizona.
At the invitational, McCrae finished tied 37th overall, shooting a 216 total score over three rounds. He shot a 73 on the first day, followed by a 69 on day two, and wrapped up with a 74 on day three. In total, McCrae recorded nine birdies over the 54-hole event. The Thunderbolt consists of players that are currently enrolled in college and are:
- ranked 200-400 on the WAGR Rankings;
- PING Second, Third and Honorable Mention All-Americans from Divisions II, III, NAIA, and NJCAA;
- AJGA Second Team and Honorable Mention All-Americans; and
- any special Invitations granted.

McCrae and the rest of the MSSU men's golf team will be back in action on March 4-5 at the UAFS Men's Invitational located in Fort Smith, Arkansas.Â
