Orlando, Fla. - The Missouri Southern Men's Golf team concluded their final round on Tuesday, October 31st, at Champions Gate Golf Club for the Citrus Intercollegiate, shooting a 876 overall team score that placed Southern tied for sixth overall.
Tradgon McCrae led the Lions with a 210 total score and finished tied for second individually of the 72 competitors. McCrae's second place finish is his third top 10 individual placement this fall.
Luis Limón finished tied for 24th overall individually after shooting a 219 total score over the three rounds.
Ben Marckmann placed tied for 33rd individually, shooting a 221 total score for the Lions.
Josh Hamnett shot a total score of 226, which tied him for 48th overall individually at the Intercollegiate.
Connor Williamson rounded out the team play for the Lions, shooting a 239 total score which secured him 65th individually.
With the conclusion of the Citrus Intercollegiate, the Men's Golf team wraps up their fall 2023 season and will prepare for the spring. The MSSU Men's Golf team will be back in action on March 4-5th as they travel to Fort Smith, Arkansas to compete in the UAFS Men's Invitational at Hardscrabble Country Club.
