Liberty, Mo. - Despite leading 2-0 before a weather delay the Missouri Southern Women's Soccer squad would not come away with a decision in the non-conference match with William Jewell.

The Lions (1-1-1) used two early goals by junior Taylor Beck in the ninth minute and sophomore Jeannine Escobar in the 12th minute to take an early 2-0 lead before Mother Nature stepped in and stopped the contest and caused the cancelation. 

Missouri Southern will be back in action this Friday as they travel to Bolivar for a non-conference match with Southwest Baptist at 4 p.m.
