Missouri Southern State University Athletics

2017 - Played in all 18 matches while starting 16 of them on defense during her junior season...one of 15 lions to land on the MIAA Academic Honor roll (3.52 GPA)...finished second on the team in minutes, recording 1,543 as part of a defensive unit that played a role in eight shutouts and limited opponents to 1.164 goals per match. 

2016 - Played in all 17 matches, while starting 11 of them on defense in her first season for the Lions.

Prior to Southern - Escobar played in 19 matches for the Rustlers of Golden West College as a freshman defender. A 2015 graduate of Huntington Beach HS, Escobar earned three letters at defender for the Lady Oilers and Coach Raul Ruiz. During her senior season Escobar helped the Lady Oilers defense hold strong as they won the Sunset League title for the first time in school history. She was rewarded for her part on the defensive side with second team All-Sunset League honors during that season. Escobar also played tennis and ran track at HBHS and was the two time recipient of the Al Reboin award for three sportathletes at Huntington Beach HS.

Personal - Escobar plans on majoring in kinesiology at Southern and is the daughter of Juan Escobar.
