Mankato, Minn. -- Missouri Southern freshman sprinter Jeff Fraley earned All-American status today as he placed eighth in the finals of the 200m at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships. 

Fraley ran a 22.08 in the finals to pick up his first All-American honors. He was seeded ninth coming into the finals. 

In other action at the Championships, John Lowe placed 11th in the pole vault with a height of 15-5. 

The Lions will waste no time and will open up outdoor season next week with a meet at the University of Tulsa.
