WARRENSBURG, Mo. — Missouri Southern continued its strong showing Friday at the UCM Mule Relays, highlighted by multiple wins and NCAA qualifying marks in the throws.
Cedric Pearson swept the men's shot put (18.85m) and discus (56.55m PR), while Jamale Williams placed second in both events with qualifying marks. Dailynn VanDeren added a win in the women's shot put (16.50m), and Briar Gillum led the discus with a PR and NCAA mark (51.44m).
Allyssa Mahone recorded qualifying marks in both events, while the Lions added several personal bests across the throws.
