2017 - Sat out with a medical redshirt. 

2016 - Played in 18 matches and started five as a true freshman...She finished third on the team in assists with 148, to go along with 55 digs and seven service aces...Completed a season-high 28 assists versus Pittsburg State after coming out with 27 assists ten matches earlier at Central Oklahoma...Her lone kill came against #9 Central Oklahoma, while gaining one block on the road against the same school. 

Prior to Southern - Paine prepped at St. Agnes Academy in Memphis ... While playing for coach Ryan Wallace and the Stars, Paine was a five-year starter at right side, outside hitter and middle blocker ... A Division II AA All-West Region selection as a junior, she was voted the team's best offensive player in that same year ... She has also started since eighth grade, helping St. Agnes to two State Championships in 2012 and 2013.

Personal - The daughter of Jody and Lisa Paine, Katie plans to major in biology and pre-med at Southern.
