Prior to Southern - Ermel comes to Southern after two seasons at Fort Scott Community College ... An All-Tournament selection at Fort Scott, Ermel finished her career with the second-most kills in a career, as well as a season for the Greyhounds ... As a sophomore, Ermel registered 175 kills and 96 digs, while knocking down 67 blocks for an average of 0.55 per set ... Ermel prepped at Uniontown High School where she was a three-sport athlete ... On the volleyball court, Ermel played for coach Jackie Hall and was a first-team All-SEK selection three times, while being named to the All-State Tournament team as a junior ... A three-year starter for the Eagles, Ermel was also a member of the AVCA All-Academic Team ... Also a standout in basketball and track and field, Ermel was a four-year starter on the basketball court where she was a second-team All-State selection twice, as well as being named All-Conference three times ... Personal - Ermel is the daughter of Jimmie and Jo Ermel and she plans to major in accounting at Southern. She has twin daughters, Maya and Kennedy.
