Prior to Southern
Hart transfers to Southern from Missouri Western, where she played the 2023-24 season, appearing in all 31 games and averaging 18.1 minutes per game. She scored 191 points (6.2 ppg) on 38.6% shooting from the field and 36.4% from three, while also recording 57 rebounds (1.8 rpg), 41 assists, and 31 steals. Prior to last season, Hart played two years at Johnson County Community College, helping the team to a 67-5 record, two conference and region titles, and two national tournament appearances. She averaged 14.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game and earned NJCAA DII second-team All-American honors, WBCA honorable mention All-American, All-Region IV First-Team, and the All-Kansas KJCCC DII Most Valuable Player award.

Mackenzie, the daughter of Jamie, Colby, and Brooke Hart, is pursuing a degree in Sport Management at Southern.
