In 2013: Playing in 46 games with 41 starts at third base for the Lions as a junior, including starting the final 32 games, Farrell was second on the club hitting .339 on the year collecting 40 hits in 118 at-bats while scoring 26 runs. Was tied for second on the team with nine doubles while leading the team with four triples. Also hit three home runs while driving in 24 runs totaling 66 bases on the year. Second on the team in both slugging and on-base percentage with .559 SLG % and .426 OB%. Was second on the team with 77 assists. Stole five bases on the year, the third highest-mark on the team. Had a career-high four hits in the Lions' 11-8 win in eight innings at Pittsburg State going 4-for-4 from the plate with four singles scoring a pair of runs while drawing a walk. Went 3-for-3 in Southern's 11-3 win in five innings over #8 Central Oklahoma smacking a three-run home run while scoring a pair of runs and stealing a base. Went 3-for-4 at Lindenwood hitting a two-run home run while scoring three runs.
In 2012: Playing in 43 games as a sophomore, including 39 starts at third base, Farrell hit .255 on the year with 24 hits in 94 at-bats while scoring 20 runs. Was second on the team in assists with 65. Slugged .287 on the year, while notching a .320 on-base-percentage.
In 2011: played in 30 games, starting 12, for Southern...finshed with four hits, one home run, and three RBIs...went 6-for-7 in stolen bases.
In High School:was a three year starter for Coach Walter Resa and the Lady Cardinals...won numerous awards in both 2008 and 2009, including second team All-State infielder in 2008 and a first team All-District infielder in 2009, while helping the Lady Cardinals to a 3rd place finish in Missouri Class 4...in 2007 was a member of the Class 3 Missouri State Championship team.
