2014 - Owings redshirted after undergoing offseason surgery.

Prior to Southern - Started and lettered all four years at catcher for Putnam County HS...during her senior season at Owings earned 2nd Team All-State honors, while earning 1st Team All-Region, All-District, and All-Conference honors...finshed her senior season with a .530 batting average for the Midgets and Coach Fitzpatrick...also started all four years at forward on the basketball court for Coach Dever.

Personal - The daughter of Gerald and Nancy Owings...a biology (Pre-Med) major...youngest of three.
