2015 - Blue saw limited action for the Lions during her freshman season appearing in 39 games with 26 starts while splitting time in right field...Blue recorded her first career hit for Southern in game one of a non-conference double header with Drury at Lea Kungle field...her first multi-hit game came almost a month later this time in game one at Drury as they Lions swept the Panthers in Springfield...her first career double came on April 20th in the night cap of a twin bill at Rogers State in Claremore, Oklahoma (Blue's hometown).

Prior to Southern - A four-year letter winner in softball at Claremore-Sequoyah High School in Claremore, Oklahoma, Blue was a four-year starter in the outfield for the Eagles and head coach Krystel Markwardt. As a senior this past fall, Sydney hit .386 from the plate collecting 30 hits while driving in 19 runs. She also had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage earning Will Rogers All-Conference honorable mention honors. A part of a winning tradition at CSHS, Blue helped lead the Eagles to their fourth consecutive district championships as a senior. In addition to winning a district championship in all four of years as a prep, Blue led the Eagles to a conference championship as a freshman and junior. As a freshman in 2010, the Eagles won the regional championship and qualified for the state tournament.

Personal - Undecided on her major at Southern...daughter of Mike and Samantha Blue...has one sibling, Bryce.
