2015 - Appeared in 26 games on the rubber for the Lions and lead the team in starts with 24...pitched six complete games and combined with Ashley Lutz for a 4-0 shut out of Drury on April 7th in Springfield...struck out a season high eight batters in a 4-3 loss to Northeastern State on April 26th in six and a third innings of work...she finished the season with 108.1 innings pitched allowing 73 earned runs while striking out 66...recorded her first career hit and RBI in the night cap of a twin bill at Pittsburg State on March 7th...her first career multi-hit game came at 11th ranked Emporia State that also resulted in a RBI.

Prior to Southern - A four-year letter winner in softball at McDonald County High School in Anderson, Missouri, Hodson was a two-year starter for the Lady Mustangs and head coach Trey Shaddox. As a senior this past fall, Hodson and the Lady Mustangs compiled a 23-3 record, winning both the Joplin and Branson Tournaments for the first time in school history. She led the Mustangs in RBI's with 33 and home runs with six and pitched in 23 of the 26 games during the season. For her outstanding season, she earned first-team All-District and first-team All-Region honors as a pitcher and set school records in RBI's and home runs. She was also voted by her teammates as the best pitcher on the Mustangs. As a junior in 2012, she earned first-team All-District honors as a pitcher. In addition to her play on the softball diamond, Hodson also excelled in the classroom where she carries a 3.3 GPA.
