Competed at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships running the 10k course.

Prior to Southern - Simpson prepped at West Plains High School where he was a member of the cross country and track and field teams for the Zizzers and coach Alicia Gunter ... Simpson was a three-time first team All-Conference selection in cross country ... the Missouri State Champion as a senior in cross country, he has been a three time individual State Champion in track and field, as well ... Simpson also earned All-State honors in the 4x800m relay ... Simpson helped his team to a third place finish at the Missouri State Cross Country Championships in 2020. 

Personal - Simpson is the son of Brooke Robertson and is a political science major at Southern.
