Biography

Prior to Southern - Held prepped at Plato High School where he was involved with the cross country and track and field programs... A five time All-State finalist on the track and three times on the cross country course, was an All-Conference honoree four times on the track and three times on the course... Individually was a 10 time track All-Conference performer... Personal best times of 1:57 in the 800 meter, 4:21 in the 1,600 meter and 15:54 in the 5,000 meter runs.

Personal - David is the son of Tabetha and Terry Held.
