2022 - Doran appeared in 42 games for the Lions with 40 starting assignments, capable of playing at first or serving as the designated hitter ... Finished the season with a .305 average in 151 at bats, scoring 34 runs off 46 hits, 10 doubles, eight home runs, 36 RBIs, slugged .530, drew 23 walks for a .418 on base percentage and recorded 19 putouts for a 1.000 fielding percentage.

Prior to Southern - Played the 2021 season at Division I University of Nebraska-Omaha (UNO) where he hit .225 in 25 games with 20 starts for the Mavericks ... He finished the season with two doubles, two home runs, 14 RBIs and 12 walks ... Before playing at UNO, Doran was at Iowa Central CC where he was named to the NJCAA All-Academic Second Team after batting .429 with a .528 on-base and a .821 slugging percentage … Tallied 12 hits with 10 RBI, two homers, three doubles, a triple and eight runs scored … Notched a perfect fielding percentage ... Prepped at Harlan High School where he led his team in batting average (.457), on-base percentage (.580), slugging percentage (.904), hits (43), doubles (18), home runs (8), RBI (35), runs scored (41) and walks (23). He also tied for third in the state in doubles and sixth I home runs. 
 
Personal - Ryan is the son of Ann and Randall Doran and is a education major at Southern.
