2013 - Started the first nine games of the season at linebacker for the Lions as a junior...Made seven tackles on the year, two solo...Had a season-best three tackles in Southern's first two games making three stops each game with two solo and one assisted at Northeastern State.

Prior to Southern - Edget was a Mississippi All-Star selection at Holmes Community College where he played for coach Jeff Koonz … This past season, Edget recorded 32 tackles, six tackles for a loss and 4.5 sacks … In high school, Edget prepped at Grenada High School where he played for coach Lamar Pitcott and was a team captain and led the district in tackles two years in a row … He was a top 20 selection in the state of Mississippi where he was twice named All-District, All-County and All-State.
