Biography

2014 - Burks started six games in his 10 appearances during the season... Finished with 17 total tackles (12 solo, five assisted), one fumble recovery, three interceptions, and three pass break ups... Burks recorded two interceptions in an overtime loss to Central Missouri, where he also made a season high five tackles.

2013 - Burks started all 10 games at cornerback as a sophomore making 13 tackles on the year...Had a pair of interceptions returned for 24 yards while breaking up three passes...Had a season-high four tackles twice in wins at home over Central Oklahoma and Lincoln...Had interceptions versus Central Oklahoma and Southwest Baptist.

2012 - Burks appeared in three games as a defensive back making six tackles, five solo, with two pass break-ups and one interception on the year. Recorded a season-high three tackles, all solo, along with an interception against Pittsburg State. Made a solo tackle with a pass break-up against South Dakota School of Mines, and had two tackles with a pass break-up against Truman.
