Prior to Southern - Played two years at Central Lakes...earned All-MCAC honors at kicker...scored 86 points for Central Lakes during his sophomore season...helped Central Lakes to a state runner-up finish and appearance in the El Toro bowl against Arizona Western...was a candidate for the Fred Mitchell Award for best place kicker...played three years for Osseo HS...was a two-time All-Conference selection and earned All-State honors one year...set the school record for most tackles in a season his senior year...also set the school record for most points in a career...helped the Orioles to four section finals.
