2017 -  Saw action three games as part of the defensive line...made five tackles combined...one of 22 lions to land on the MIAA Academic Honor roll (3.83 GPA)...

Prior to Southern - was a two sport athlete at Pierce City HS...earned three letters on the gridiron playing both Offensive and Defensive Line for coach Brad Hocker and the Eagles...earned honorable mention All-Conference honors as a junior at O-Line and first team honors on both sides of the ball during his senior season...as a junior earned All-District honorable mention honors at OL and was a second team All-Area pick during his senior season...on the defensive side of the ball earned honorable mention All-Area as a senior...lettered one year in track and field throwing the shot put and discus...McDunner was also an All-Conference selection for the Scholars Bowl his sophomore, junior, and senior years...earned All-District Scholar Bowl honors his freshman, junior, and senior years.
