Prepped at Fair Grove HS where he was a four-year letter winner for coach Bill Vorhis and the Eagles … finished his career with over 2,500 passing yards and 28 touchdowns, while rushing the ball for over 500 yards … first-team All-Conference at quarterback and linebacker as a senior, while being named the conference Offensive Player of the Year … Two-time All-Conferene … two-time All-Area … also a member of the basketball and track and field teams at Fair Grove … Helped his teams to three Conference Championships in football, two in basketball and two in track and field … three-time Academic All-State pick.
