Prior To Southern
Walker transferred to Missouri Southern from Sauk Valley Community College. At Sauk Valley CC, he earned All-Conference honors as a freshman and sophomore and All-Region honors as a sophomore.

Walker prepped at Clinton High School under coaches Josh Hickman, Nate Ennis, Vic Binkley and Ron Bass, where he competed in baseball, basketball and football. On the baseball diamond, Walker was a four-time All-Conference selection, competing as an outfielder and pitcher. He also earned All-Conference honors three times in basketball and was named an All-State and All-Area Player of the Year as a point guard. In football, Walker earned All-Conference honors as a quarterback. As a senior, he helped Clinton's basketball team post a 28-4 record and the baseball team finish 21-9.

Mason, the son of Chad and Angela Walker, is pursuing a degree in Business Marketing at Southern.
