Biography

Prior To Southern
Loera began his collegiate career at Connors State College before continuing at Arkansas State University Mountain Home. He transferred to MSSU ahead of the 2027 season. In 2026, he played in 54 games and recorded 42 hits, 38 runs, 22 RBI and 10 stolen bases while posting a .236 batting average at Arkansas State University Mountain Home. 

Loera prepped at Westmoore High School under coach Andrew McGuire, where he competed at shortstop and earned COAC Defensive Player of the Year honors as a junior. He helped Westmoore reach the state tournament during his prep career. Loera graduated from Westmoore High School in 2023.

Christian, the son of Amanda Drye, is pursuing a degree in Exercise Science at Southern.
