Biography

Prior To Southern
Leeker prepped at Gainesville High School under coaches Blake Hobbs and Morris Jenkins, where he competed in baseball and basketball. On the baseball diamond, Leeker earned All-Conference honors throughout his career and was a three-time All-District selection. He was named Conference Player of the Year as a senior and earned All-State Honorable Mention honors. Leeker competed at first base and pitcher and helped Gainesville win two district championships. In basketball, he earned All-Conference and All-District honors as a junior and senior while competing at forward. Leeker graduated from Gainesville High School in 2026.
 
Personal
Grant, the son of Thomas and Jodi Leeker, is pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice at Southern.
