2019 – Nutting saw action in 23 games for the Lions with 11 starts ... He hit .180 with nine hits, six runs scored and 14 runs driven in. Of his nine hits seven were extra base hits with three doubles, three triples and a home run. Defensively, he had four putouts and one assist.

As a sophomore, Nutting hit .246 with eight home runs, 36 RBIs and 25 runs scored ... Nutting was a two-time All-Region pick in the outfield ... Nutting prepped at Webb City High School where he was a two-year letter winner for coach Chris Taylor and the Cardinals ... Nutting was a two-time All-Conference selection on the baseball field ... Also a three-time letter winner on the football field, Nutting was a two-time State Champion for the Cardinals where he was twice named an All-State linebacker.
