Prior To Southern
Hinkle prepped at Oak Park High School, where he earned four varsity letters in baseball and three in football. In baseball, he played right field and set school records for single-season hits (50), doubles (14), and walks (26), while compiling career totals of 177 hits, 422 at-bats, 37 doubles, 68 stolen bases, 11 triples, 105 RBIs, 59 walks, and 127 runs. He was named All-Conference Player of the Year twice, All-Conference First-Team Utility Player three times, and earned All-State Third-Team honors. In football, Hinkle was named All-Conference Player of the Year and received All-District First-Team and All-Conference honors as a quarterback. Academically, he was a three-time Academic All-State honoree.

Aiden, the son of Christina and Trevor Hinkle, is pursuing a degree in Computer Forensics at Southern.
