Prior to Southern
Mulhollon transferred to MSSU after playing two seasons at Wichita State. Totaled 10 appearances and 8.1 innings pitched with the Shockers. Made just one appearance before his 2024 sophomore season was cut short due to injury, tossing a scoreless inning in his first career start at Oral Roberts (2/28/24). Named to 2024 AAC All-Academic Team. Appeared in nine games out of the Wichita State bullpen as a freshman in 2023, totaling 7.1 innings. Allowed five hits and seven runs, striking out 11 while walking nine. Was unscored upon in five of his first six outings, highlighted by 2.0 scoreless innings at Kansas (3/8/23) with four strikeouts. Closed out Wichita State's win over Utah Tech (2/25/23) with a 1-2-3 inning. Struck out a pair in a perfect frame against Creighton (3/18/23). Named to the Wichita State AD Honor Roll in Spring 2023. Named to AAC All-Academic Team. Three-year letterwinner at Westosha Central High School in Salem, Wisconsin. Ranked the #13 player in the state of Wisconsin by Prep Baseball Report and the #2 left-handed pitcher. Ranked the #22 player in the state by Perfect Game and the #3 left-handed pitcher. Second Team All-Area selection as a junior in 2021, Honorable Mention All-Southern Lakes Conference. Struck out 66 in 38.0 innings. Threw 6.1 no-hit innings in playoff start. Also played football and basketball. Was a First Team All-Conference quarterback in 2021.

Personal
Son of Keith and Elizabeth Mulhollon. Has a brother, Henry, and a sister, Elizabeth. Father, Keith, ran track and cross country collegiately. Grandfather, David Cassidy, and uncle, Joel Cassidy, both played college basketball at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Majored in sport management at Wichita State.
