2022: Competed in the MIAA Indoor Championships earning All-MIAA honors in the high jump with a mark of 2.08m (6' 9.75")  ... Competed in the MIAA Outdoor Championships winning the high jump with a mark of 2.12m (6' 11.5") the fourth highest mark in school history.

Prior to Southern -  Jewell prepped at Carl Junction high school for coach Mark Robertson and the Bulldogs ... A four year letter winner on the track and earned a letter on the football field for coach Doug Buckmaster as a wide receiver ... On the track was an All-State honoree as a sophomore and senior for the Bulldogs ... A state champion in the high jump as a senior clearing 6' 7.5" (2.02m) at Adkins Stadium in Jefferson City ... Jewell was also a sectional and conference champion in the high jump as a senior as well.

Personal - Brendan is the son of Stephanie Jewell and plans to major in business at Southern.
