In 2009-10: played in 11 games as a true freshman for the Lions, averaging 4.7 minutes a game…Baker converted on all 12 of his trips to the charity stripe…scored his first career points as a Lion against former MIAA foe Missouri S&T on 11/120/09…and played a season high nine minutes against both Arkansas-Ft. Smith and Central Bible.

In high school: Averaged 20.7 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 3.9 spg and 5.4 apg as a senior for Hammond HS ... was named the 2008-09 Howard County (MD) Player of the Year and earned All-County honors in 2007-08 ... led the County with 21.5 ppg and 3.9 spg during the 2007-08 campaign ... totaled 1,000 points for his career at Hammond HS and currently holds the school's single-game record for points (39) and steals (10) ... finished his HS career as the school's all-time second-leading scorer.

Personal: Major is international business ... born Aug. 1, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah ... son of Clarence and Stephanie Baker ... his father, Clarence, played football at the University of Illinois from 1976-78 and in Europe from 1980-83.
