2022-23 - Long appeared in 18 games for the Lions getting the start in six as a guard while overcoming an injury during the season to average 6.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.1 blocks a game in 20.1 minutes ... For the season scored 119 points going 45-for-87 from the field, 13-for-33 from three, 16-for-26 from free throws while grabbing 56 rebounds, dishing out 44 assists, blocking one shot and collecting nine steals ... Shot 51.7 percent from the field, 39.4 percent from three and 61.5 percent from free throws.

Prior to Southern - Long comes to Southern after spending the last two seasons (2020-22) at Southeast Missouri (SEMO) with coach Sam McMahon and was teammates with fellow incomer Sam Thompson ... At SEMO in two years he appeared in 29 games off the bench averaging 1.4 points, 0.6 rebounds and 0.3 assists a game while shooting 52.6 percent from three and 48.1 percent from the field ... Prior to SEMO, Long was at Maryville where he was named onto the GLVC All-Freshman team after averaging 12.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 35.6 minutes a game while shooting 40.2 percent from three (41-of-102) and 81.1 percent from free throws (60-of-74) ... Scored 32 points against Tiffin (Nov. 10, 2019) going 12-of-12 from the line while dishing out seven assists as well ... Sank six three's against Southwest Baptist (Jan. 18) and Illinois-Springfield (Feb. 15) ... Prepped at Sikeston High School where he averaged 12.1 points, 6.5 assists a game while having a 3.5 assist-to-turnover ratio as a senior while shooting 51 percent from the field and 46 percent from three ... In two seasons at Sikeston dished out 281 assists and earned SEMO All-Conference and All-District honors as a senior.

Personal - Parker is the son of Angie and Carter Long plans to major in education at Southern ... Has a twin brother Owen who played with Parker at Maryville (2019-20) and is now at MIAA foe Emporia State after transferring from Youngstown State.
