Biography

2010 - Fowler played in nine games in his first season as a Lion. The JUCO transfer at defensive back recorded 22 tackles, 12 of them solo, and a pair of pass break ups. Fowler’s only interception came in Southern’s week one victory over MSU-Moorhead. 

Prior to Southern - was a first team All-Conference cornerback at San Bernardino (CA) Junior College.

In High School - was a two year starter for Coach Carl Posey at Defensive Back for the Hawks of Silverado High School.

Personal - a criminal justice major here at Southern...born August 7, 1988 in San Bernardino, Calif...son of Dexter Fowler and Linda Butts...has two sisters, Danisha and Dameeka, and two brothers, Traneece and Thaddeus...cousin Shareece Wright is a cornerback at the University of Southern California.
