2016 - Played in six matches, while starting two of them during her rookie campaign on defense...one of eight players to land on the MIAA Academic Honor roll(3.863 GPA).

Prior to Southern - Marquez is a 2015 graduate of Carthage HS and a four time letter winner for the Lady Tigers and Coach Bayless at midfielder. She earned second team All-Central Ozarks Conference honors her freshman and sophomore seasons and first team All-COC and All-District honors as a senior. She was voted CHS offensive player of the year as a freshman and team MVP as a sophomore before earning the team golden boot and golden ball awards as a senior. She was a three time captain for the Lady Tigers and also played basketball for CHS.

Personal - Marquez is currently an education major specializing in math at Southern and is the daughter of Manuel and Mireya Marquez.
