2015 - Playing both center field and seeing time as a pitcher Hoffman saw action in all but one game for the lions last year (53) with 52 starts ... on the offensive side of the game Hoffman lead the team in batting average (.426) hits (83) runs (56) doubles (16) triples (3) total bases (129) on base percentage (.489) and stolen bases (18) was second in home runs (8) and slugging percentage (.662) and added 39 rbi along with his impressive offensive season ... on the mound Chris had success as well notching 4 wins over 41.0 innings with a 3.73 era and 25 strike outs

Prior to Southern - Chris was a two year starter in CF for Coach Cummings at College of Lake County in Illinois. This past season Chris had a .439 AVG (10^th NJCAA-DII), 11 2B's, 8 3B's, and had 41 stolen bases (2^nd NJCAA-DII) on his way to being named 1^st Team All-American and Conference Player of the Year. During his two years at Lake County he also pitched a total of 35.2 innings, allowing 40 H, 9 BB's, and striking out 36. 

Personal - Chris is the son of Dave and Michelle Hoffman and is an Education Major.
