In 2007: Appeared in 75 games and started 10 matches as a true freshman .... Splitting time with freshmen Amelia Judge on the front line ... recorded 128 kills and averaged 1.71 per game ... totaled 55 blocks and 21 digs on defense
In high school: Was named to Arkansas Top 25 team as junior and senior earned All-State honors as a senior for coach Jessica Phelan, adding All-Conference accolades as a junior and senior led Fayetteville High School in blocks and kills both junior and senior years in 2005 was named to the Junior Amateur Olympic Team Vavao-Huggins was also All-State in Track and Field helping her team finish First Place as a freshmen also was a stand out athlete in basketball where she was also named to the All-Conference team as a senior help basketball team advance to the Arkansas State Tournament as a junior and senior she plans to play basketball at Southern as a walk-on athlete she also participated in softball.
