Biography

Prior To Southern
Jordyn Whitfield comes to Missouri Southern from Trinity Academy High School in Wichita, Kan. Whitfield was a three-year letter winner in volleyball for the Knights under head coach Katelyn Moore, playing outside hitter. She recorded 500 career kills and helped Trinity Academy to a third-place finish at the Kansas 3A State Championship in 2026.

Whitfield was also a four-year letter winner in track and field under head coach Junior Joseph, competing in the shot put and discus. She holds school records in both events, with personal bests of 35-0" in the shot put and 113-6" in the discus.

She is the daughter of Kara and Velbert Whitfield. Whitfield plans to major in biological sciences/pre-med at Missouri Southern.
