BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. — Missouri Southern opened play at the Fall Central Region Preview on Tuesday at Adams Point Golf Course, hosted by Oklahoma Baptist University. The Lions sit in third place after the opening round.

Missouri Southern finished the opening round at 14-over par as a team. Avary Eckert and Katarina Chynoranska led the way for Southern, each carding a 75 (+3). Caitlin Metcalfe and Maryn Harlow followed with rounds of 76 (+4), while Addie Foust finished with a 78 (+6).

Playing as an individual, Anna Shinabery also carded a 78 (+6).

The Lions will return to Adams Point Golf Course tomorrow, September 9, for the final round of the Fall Central Region Preview.
