ANDOVER, Kan. — The Missouri Southern women's golf team finished tied for seventh at the Newman Fall Invite, hosted by Newman University at Terradyne Country Club on September 21-22.

The Lions opened the tournament with a team score of +6 in the first round before posting a +15 in the second round to finish at +21 for the tournament.

Leading the way for Missouri Southern was Maryn Harlow, who finished fifth overall at even par. Harlow opened the tournament with a career-best 69 (-2), highlighted by an eagle, marking the best round of her career. She followed with a 74 (+3) in the second round to finish at even par.

Caitlin Metcalfe finished tied for 15th at +4, carding rounds of 72 (+1) and 74 (+3). Katarina Chynoranska placed tied for 22nd at +5 after rounds of 72 (+1) and 75 (+4).

Avary Eckert finished tied for 52nd at +12, shooting 77 (+6) in both rounds. Gabrielle Rettinghaus finished tied for 61st at +15 after rounds of 77 (+6) and 80 (+9).

Competing individually, Addie Foust finished tied for 73rd at +20, recording rounds of 76 (+5) and 86 (+15).
