ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — The Missouri Southern women's golf team wrapped up competition at the NCAA Division II Central Regional on Wednesday at St. Joseph Country Club, finishing tied for 12th overall with a three-round score of +96.

Leading the way for the Lions was Katarina Chynoranska, who carded a final-round 75 (+3) to finish tied for fourth individually at +11 for the tournament. Chynoranska opened the regional with rounds of 75 and 77 before closing strong in round three to secure a top-five finish against a competitive regional field.

Caitlin Metcalfe finished tied for 33rd overall at +23 after posting rounds of 78 and 74 through the opening two days of competition. Gabrielle Rettinghaus tied for 75th at +33, while Avary Eckert finished tied for 77th at +34. Cierra Tunley rounded out the Lion lineup with a tie for 87th at +37.

Missouri Southern improved from 11th after round one to eighth following round two before concluding the tournament tied for 12th overall.
