EDMOND, Okla. – Missouri Southern Women's Golf opened play at the Diffee Ford Lincoln Invitational on Monday at Kickingbird Golf Club, hosted by Southern Nazarene.

The Lions were led by Katarina Chynoranska, who fired a 72 (+2) in the opening round. Chynoranska carded 35 on the front nine and 37 on the back, positioning herself near the top of the leaderboard heading into Tuesday's final round. Maryn Harlow followed with a 75 (+5), turning in an even-par 35 on the front nine before finishing the day at five-over. Avary Eckert posted a 79 (+9), while Gabrielle Rettinghaus recorded an 81 (+11). Caitlin Metcalfe rounded out the team scoring with an 82 (+12). Competing as an individual, Madi Phillips shot an 87 (+17) in the opening round.

The Lions will wrap up play tomorrow at Kickingbird Golf Club.
