JOPLIN, Mo. – Missouri Southern Athletics gears up for a busy week highlighted by key MIAA road basketball matchups, the MIAA Indoor Championships, a home baseball series at Warren Turner Field, and softball action at the Midwest College Classic. This week also marks the annual Lion Pride Giving Challenge, as alumni, fans, and supporters are encouraged to give back and support Missouri Southern student-athletes throughout the week.
Men's and Women's Basketball both travel Wednesday to face the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg before heading to Topeka on Saturday to take on Washburn University.
Indoor Track & Field competes at the MIAA Indoor Championships in Pittsburg, Kansas, as the Lions look to make their mark on the conference stage.
Baseball returns home to Warren Turner Field for a three-game MIAA series against Northeastern State University beginning Friday.
Softball travels to Shawnee, Kansas, for the Midwest College Classic, facing Wayne State College, Minnesota State University Moorhead, Truman State University, and Augustana University (S.D.) over the weekend.
