Chynoranska Leads Lions at Newman Fall Invitational

WICHITA, Kan. – Missouri Southern women's golf continued fall tournament play with two rounds at the Newman Fall Invitational, held at Sand Creek Station Golf Course. 

The Lions were led by Katarina Chynoranska, who posted a +1 (73) in the opening round and followed it up with a +2 (74) in Round 2, including a front-nine 34 (-2) in the final round. Chynoranska, a junior from Velké Leváre, Slovakia, finished fourth overall at the Invitational with a +3. It was her second top-10 finish of the fall campaign. 

MSSU as a team finished fifth overall at +54.

The Lions next head to Warrensburg, Missouri, for the UCM Midwest Classic, hosted by Central Missouri on October 13–14 at Mules National Golf Club.
