JOPLIN, Mo. – Missouri Southern Athletics has a trio of sporting events at home this week highlighted by Football's season opener Saturday, Aug. 30 at Fred G. Hughes Stadium. Fans are encouraged to wear white and its Youth Football Night for the Lions' opener.

Head football coach Atiba Bradley and captains Dmitri Lloyd, Trace Willhite and Zach Bergmann addressed the media ahead of Missouri Southern Football's season-opening matchup against Midwestern State University. That press conference presented by Moe's Southwest Grill can be viewed online. 

Soccer and Volleyball are both hosting Friday exhibitions. Both events are free and open to the public.
